Citrange de Montauban
Citranges are hybrids between Citrus trifoliata (previously called Poncirus trifoliata) and the sweet orange Citrus sinensis. The best-known varieties were created in the USA in the early years of the 20th Century.
See USDA Citranges.
Less well-known is the fact that similar crosses were being made at more or less the same time by an amateur French grower called Armand Bernard who lived near the French town of Montauban. The journal Revue Horticole published an article about this in 1905 - see https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/197179#page/307/mode/1up
Sadly, I have been unable to ascertain whether any examples of Bernard's hybrids are still alive and well.
A drawing derived from Revue Horticole shows the different leaf forms of the Citrange de Montauban.
